System Logistics wins 2015 Beverage World Warehousing Innovation Award
System Logistics, a global leader for the development of intra-logistics automated solutions, has been recognized with the 2015 Beverage World Warehousing Innovation Award. The award was presented by Beverage World Magazine to celebrate excellence and innovation across the global beverage industry.
The Warehousing Innovation Awards are presented to companies with products, services or systems that are helping beverage operators manage their warehousing operations to greater levels of efficiency. System Logistics recently exhibited at the ProMat Show 2015 in Chicago and presented the new Automatic Picking to Pallet System (APPS). The innovation of APPS was a key factor in being recognized by Beverage World as an industry leader in warehouse automation solutions.
The APPS solution has expanded the System Logistics’ portfolio for fully automated order fulfillment solutions to the next level. Compared to other automation solutions APPS provides tremendous advantages for the end user such as: ease of implementation and operation, scalable investment, reduction of space requirements, and increases the efficiency of the picking process.
APPS is a complete, flexible and modular automatic picking system, able to break down single-code pallets according to incoming orders and configure multi-code pallets in the most complex situations (high number of orders, high level of fragmentation). It is based on System Logistics’ “Best Fitting” software, a volumetric calculator which autonomously determines the best pallet stacking scheme.
