Warehouse Storage Rack

Our portfolio of warehouse racking includes standard selective pallet rack, cantilever rack, push back rack, flow rack and pallet shuttle systems. Available in a variety of widths, depths, heights and weight capacities, our industrial warehouse racking can be configured to store pallets, long goods, cartons and more. Complimented by a variety of decking options including wire decking and steel decking, our team will provide a pallet rack system increasing your storage capacity and efficiency in a safe environment for the operator and stored goods.

Tear Drop Design Selective Pallet Rack

The Tear Drop/Riveted Beam End Plate design is the most common pallet rack in the industry and the standard in North America. No other combination provides better connectivity, capacity, system rigidity and long term flexibility for product mix elevation changes. Two teardrop punches, side by side on 2” centers. Beams are adjustable every 2”. Frames are one piece MIG welded of 55 KSI hi-strength steel and painted with Hi-Gloss, Abrasion resistant powder coat paint that is Available in 100’s of colors.

cantilever rack

Ideal for storing long or awkwardly-shaped items such as bar stock, piping, lumber and more, our cantilever racking features a special arm system designed for easy front loading without obstruction. Structural steel components guarantee superior strength. Punched holes run the full height of each column upright, providing excellent adaptability and versatility for all of your storage requirements. Built for the toughest industrial applications, all connections use high-strength structural grade bolts.

push back racking

Push back racking  is a pallet storage method that allows pallets to be stored from 2 to 6 deep on either side of an aisle, giving you higher storage density than other forms of racking. A push back rack system contains a pair of inclined rails and a series of nesting carts which ride on these rails. The first pallet is loaded on the top cart by a forklift. When the operator comes in with the second pallet, they push the first pallet back and rests the second pallet on the middle cart. When unloading the push back rack, the sequence is reversed.  Because the pallets come to the aisle, a push back rack is much faster to load and unload than any comparable drive-in rack. Additionally, stock rotation and occupancy are greatly improved with push back racking because each level can store a different product. Finally, rack damage is significantly reduced because the operator does not have to drive in to the rack to remove pallets.

pallet and carton flow

Our extensive line of pallet and carton flow products are the most diverse and flexible line of carton flow products in the industry, designed to handle frequent product mix changes with built-in durability for today’s busy warehouse environments and biggest storage challenges. All systems are custom designed for your unique application requirements and are adaptable to roll-formed or structural racking.

pallet shuttle storage system

High density pallet storage with channels in excess of twenty pallet positions in depth can be provided with the Schaefer Orbiter System. The shuttle vehicle and docking station are inserted into the patented centering bracket of the desired rack channel by a forklift. The centering bracket prevents incorrect positioning and material damage while also saving time. This is a major advantage, especially on the upper levels. The stackers then take the storage palette and place it on the Orbiter which transports into the next possible space in the channel.

Pallet movements in the channel system as per the FILO and FIFO principles. With the first in-last out (FILO) approach, the pallets are only stored and removed from one side of the rack. In contrast, the first in-first out (FIFO) principle enables the stored pellets to also be removed from the opposite side of the rack. The fully automatic reorganization of the channel ensures that the continuous supply complies with the FIFO logic.

The Orbiter system is a great solution for deep freeze applications allowing you to maximize the cubic capacity of your freezer or cooler.
