St. Leo University Kirk Hall Academic Building

St Leo University is a private, non-profit Roman Catholic Liberal Arts University established in 1889. Its primary campus is located in St Leo, Florida, 45 miles north of Tampa.

In April of 2015 The CI Group was engaged to furnish and install all new furniture in the Kirk Hall Academic Building, a 42,000 square foot three story building to house classrooms and faculty offices. The contractor was Creative Contractors and Gould Evans was the architectural firm.

The CI Group began the process of selecting furniture and finishes in April of 2015 and completed the successful install in August of 2015, providing furnishings for all classrooms, academic offices, the resource center and collaborative study centers.

The customer’s objective was to create a forward thinking environment for learning with plenty of open areas for interaction between students and faculty. With Gould Evans architectural design and guidance The CI Group worked to provide some of the newest ideas for learning spaces using primarily Teknion products, a North American manufacture of furniture and a leader in the Educational and Commercial Office furniture market. The colors chosen work well to incorporate the 126 year old olive tree that grows outside of the building to reflect the university’s goal as being seen as lifelong learners.

The CI Group used a talented team of in-house design, sales, project management, and installer that resulted in a very satisfied customer experience and a beautiful space they love to show off to potential students and staff.
