ProjectFirst Baptist Church

FBC of Covington is one of the largest churches on the Northshore of New Orleans. The 180,000 square foot expansion included a new two-story Preschool and Children’s Building. The renovation also included a Commons Area with a coffee shop, bookstore, connection center and hospitality room, a new Worship Center, Administration building and back of house areas.

CI Group worked with the FBC team to select furniture as well as fabric and finishes to complement the distinctive color themes in each area of the Preschool and Children’s building. Finishes for the Commons area give a warm hospitable feeling while also being very durable for a high traffic areas. Groupings of furniture were placed throughout the space to welcome interaction among the congregation.

The CI Group also furnished the conference rooms, offices and the reception area of the Administration Building as well as many back of house green rooms, choir lofts, production and family rooms throughout the facility.
